Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows: We cut our 12-month target to $70 from $87 on a P/E of 23x our 2024 EPS estimate, near peers, but below TER’s five-year average (24x) on a soft macro. We maintain our 2023 EPS estimate of $2.84, but sharply cut our 2024 estimate to $3.03 from $4.14. TER posted Q3 EPS of $0.80 (vs. $1.15 in Q3 2022), $0.07 above consensus, driven by higher-than-expected sales in its Robotics group. Teradyne (NASDAQ:TER) reported Q2 adjusted earnings  of $0.79 per diluted share, down from $1.21 per share a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected adjusted EPS of $0.66. Revenue for the quarter ended July 2 was $684.4 million, compared with $840.8 million a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $658.1 million. The company said it expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.61 to $0.81. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.72. Revenue for the quarter is projected to be $650 million to $710 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $671.5 million.
