Sales of semiconductor equipment in Japan rose nearly 20% year-on-year in November, reaching the fourth highest monthly record
According to statistics released by the Japan Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Association (SEAJ), sales of semiconductor equipment made in Japan (three-month moving average) increased by 19.1% year-on-year to 335.495 billion yen in November 2022, showing growth for the 23rd consecutive month and setting the fourth highest monthly record. From January to November 2022, cumulative sales of semiconductor equipment in Japan reached 3,545,103 million yen, a year-on-year increase of 27.8%, and sales reached a record high in the same period of the previous year.
