United Airlines (UAL) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Tuesday of $3.65 a share, up from $2.81 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.41.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $14.5 billion, up from $12.9 billion a year earlier.

The airliner said it expects Q4 adjusted EPS of $1.50 to $1.80, depending on the suspension of Tel Aviv flights. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are expecting $2.15.
