Hyatt Hotels (NYSE:H) reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.82 per diluted share, up from $0.46 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.86.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.71 billion, compared with $1.48 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.69 billion.
For 2023, the hotel operator said it now expects system-wide revenue per available room growth of 14% to 16% year over year, from prior guidance of 12% to 16%. The company said it now expects net income of about $215 million for the year, from its previously announced guidance of about $200 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ project $289.1 million.
