Waste Management (NYSE:WM) reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $1.51 per diluted share, up from $1.44 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.55.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $5.12 billion, up from $5.03 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $5.23 billion.
The company said it now expects fiscal 2023 revenue growth to be 3.25% to 4.25%, down from previous expectations by 100 basis points on the midpoint.
