General Electric (NYSE:GE) reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.68 per share, up from $0.36 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.46.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $16.70 billion, compared with $14.13 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $15.15 billion.
General Electric said it now expects 2023 adjusted EPS of $2.10 to $2.30, from prior outlook of $1.70 to $2.00. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $2.05. The company also said it now expects organic revenue to grow in the low-double-digit range, up from its previously announced outlook of a high-single-digit range.
