Revenue for the quarter ended April 29 was $1.32 billion, down from $1.45 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.3 billion.
The chipmaker said it projects fiscal Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.27 to $0.37 on revenue of $1.33 billion, plus or minus 5%. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for an adjusted EPS of $0.31 and revenue of $1.31 billion.
