Synopsys (NASDAQ:SNPS) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings of $2.54 per share, up from $2.50 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.47.
Revenue for the quarter that ended March 31 was $1.4 billion, up from $1.28 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.38 billion.
The software company said it expects fiscal Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $2.70 to $2.75 on revenue of $1.47 billion to $1.5 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for $2.68 and $1.48 billion, respectively.
The company said it now expects fiscal 2023 non-GAAP EPS of $10.77 to $10.84. That compares with its prior guidance of $10.53 to $10.60.
Revenue for the current fiscal year is now projected to be between $5.79 billion and $5.83 billion, the company said. That compares with a range of $5.78 billion to $5.83 billion previously.
