Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.18.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $83.08 billion, down from $86.56 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $81.51 billion.

Shares of the oil and energy giant fell 0.8% in recent Friday premarket activity.
