Walmart(NYSE:WMT) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings of $1.71 per share and GAAP earnings of $2.32 per diluted share, Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.51 in adjusted EPS and $1.52 in GAAP EPS.
Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 was $164.05 billion, Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ estimated $158.67 billion.
For fiscal Q1, Walmart estimated $1.25 to $1.30 in adjusted EPS and sales growth of 4.5% to 5%. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect earnings of $1.37 on revenue of $145.83 billion.
For the full fiscal year, the company projected adjusted EPS of $5.90 to $6.05 and 2.5% to 3% in sales growth.
Walmart said its board approved an annual cash dividend of $2.28 per share for fiscal 2024, up from $2.24 in the preceding year.
